Satu Pohja

I have been working at Fondia since 2019 and head the Fondia Group's Environmental, Real Estate and Construction Law practice. With more than 14 years of experience, I assist our clients in a wide range of matters including permitting, zoning, construction and various real estate related projects and transactions. I work extensively on various renewable energy and green transition projects. I also have specific knowledge of waste legislation and circular economy processes.

I find the business-oriented approach of Fondia very natural and meaningful as a lawyer: it is essential to understand the client's needs from a business perspective and to find the best solution to move forward smoothly.

I also have a Master's degree in Management from my previous life.

My free time is spent with my family and as I live in Lahti, skiing and other sports are naturally close to my heart.
