Pontus Ranta

I advise clients mainly on matters related competition law and public procurement. I joined Fondia in August 2022, prior to which I worked for several years for the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (FCCA). At the FCCA, I worked in different roles in merger control and antitrust enforcement, including as the leading case handler in many prominent merger investigations. I have also been awarded a postgraduate diploma in Economics for Competition Law by King’s College London.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, in addition to which I try to reserve time for playing different sports and for reading great literature.
