Mikko Laitinen
Mikko works as a Senior Legal Counsel and has over 15 years of experience advising clients on a wide range of legal matters. His core expertise includes company law, mergers and acquisitions, dispute resolution, sustainability matters and commercial contracts.
He advises both listed and privately held companies – from large international financial institutions to start-ups – often in assignments that require broad legal insight and the ability to connect perspectives across different areas of law.
Before joining Fondia, Mikko worked for 10 years as an Attorney-at-Law and also gained experience in banking-related legal matters while working at an international financial institution.
Mikko also has extensive experience in large-scale damages litigation, including cases related to service contracts, cartels and abuse of dominant market position. He also has prepared the legal groundwork for over 50 general meetings of listed companies and regularly serves as chair or secretary at our clients’ shareholder meetings.
