Matleena Pälve

I assist our customers in the field of taxation. I have more than 10 years of experience especially in income taxation, transfer taxation and value-added taxation relating to M&A, real estate, and investment fund transactions. In addition to transactions, I advise the owners and employees of the companies on such issues as incentive programs and working abroad. I have also represented taxpayers in various tax disputes in the court. Tax matters are strongly linked to all activities, both for companies and individuals. Therefore, I’m always aiming to observe customers’ operations in a holistic way and take all related tax aspects into account.

I joined Fondia in spring 2023. Prior to Fondia, I worked for several years for Hannes Snellman Attorneys Ltd and for one big4 company where, in addition to legal expertise, I gained experience in tax accounting and preparation of tax returns and balance sheets.

My leisure time I mostly spend with my kids, but I try to find some time for myself here and there, which I like to spend by sweating at the gym, jogging trail or in the floorball field.
