Mariliis Toom
I advise clients mainly with issues related to real estate and construction. Before joining Fondia, I worked at the Estonian Transport Administration, where I provided legal services and support to the Administration in various legal matters. Also, my focus was mainly on advising construction and planning law matters. Prior to the Administration I was construction and environmental advisor in a municipal government, where I worked with administrative law and procedure related to spatial planning, construction, land management and environmental matters.
I’m also a real estate teacher in Estonian University of Life Sciences, teaching subjects related to land and real estate law. I have master's degree both in law and real estate planning (last with honors, cum laude).
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also like hiking and reading. Recently I started practicing folk dancing.
