Maarit Niemistö

I joined Fondia in January 2016. My expertise is in business legal agreements, especially purchase and construction agreements incl. principal contractor duties, statutory obligations of the contractor, industrial general terms such as YSE1998 and RYHT2000. In addition, I work with data protection matters and have completed the CIPP/E certification. Before joining Fondia I worked several years as an inhouse legal counsel in Finnish stock company.

I assist clients in a business-oriented manner in both domestic and international deliveries or projects. Regarding data protection, I support clients in their daily privacy-related matters, such as drafting documentation and conducting privacy assessments. I provide practical trainings in contract law and data protection.

In my free time, I spend time with my family, listening to music, reading books, and not forgetting sports.
