Amendment to the Law on Companies in Lithuania – a step towards flexibility 

All legal entities have the obligation to submit information about their Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBO) to the Registry of Legal Entities (the Registry) in Lithuania in order comply with legal requirements. Nevertheless, identification of the business partners‘ UBOs has become much more important recently due to sanctions applicable to Russia and Belarus. The Registry has sent or will send the e-mails inviting legal persons to submit the required data.
