Johanna Karvinen

I advise our clients primarily on employment law matters such as drafting employment and executive contracts, co-operation negotiations and situations related to the termination of employment. I also represent clients in litigation in employment law matters, as well as in other business-related disputes, and also in criminal proceedings. In addition, I am also interested in sports law and act in several positions of trust in the field of sports law, for example as a member of the Finnish Sports Arbitration Board.

Prior to joining Fondia in May 2021, I worked as an attorney at another law firm for over 13 years. In addition to my law degree, I have also completed a master’s degree in economics and business administration. Business studies give me a broader perspective and deeper understanding of our clients’ business and thus help to find optimal solutions to our clients’ legal challenges from a business perspective.

I enjoy spending my free time outdoors jogging, hiking, biking, and skiing. On holiday I like to travel abroad and relax at the summer cottage.
