Fondia assisted Futurefly in a seed funding

Fondia assisted Futurefly, a 9 person Helsinki based start-up established in 2014, in a seed funding closed on 11 September 2015 . The $2.5 Million fundraising was led by Visionplus Fund and followed on by Silicon Valley private investors with significant Social Media investments in companies such as Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and Snapchat.

Futurefly is currently developing their debut app, a mobile messenger with 3D Avatars and Animations. The team shares over 50 years of app and game development experience from companies like Remedy Entertainment, Electronic Arts, Sulake, Microsoft and GreyArea. The company is also backed by TEKES, the Finnish fund for Technology and Innovation.
