Timo Lappi

I am a growth-oriented lawyer and enjoy building innovative companies, creating new business models, and aiming for international markets. In addition to my legal education, I also have a degree in economics.

I started my career in Finnish law firms, where I specialized in technology companies, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital and private equity investments. In 2006, I made a bold career move and left the traditional legal world. I became a co-founder of Fondia, a start-up company whose mission was to revolutionize the legal industry. I served as Fondia's CEO and was involved in growing Fondia from an early-stage start-up to the first publicly listed legal services company in the Nordic countries.

After spending several years building other growth companies, I returned to Fondia: in 2021 as a member of the board, in 2024 as chairman of the board, and in 2025 as CEO. My job as CEO of Fondia is to ensure that our strategy is translated into practical action and that we serve our customers and renew the legal services sector while growing profitably.

When I'm not at work, you'll find me recharging my batteries through exercise and spending time with family and friends.
