Josefine Appelgren

At Fondia, I assist our clients with dispute resolution in all its forms, as well as with related issues of contract interpretation and liability, and risk assessments. I represent clients in the general courts, administrative courts, and in both national and international arbitration proceedings. I also help our customers develop strategies to operate proactively—both to prevent disputes and to ensure they are in the best possible position should a dispute arise.

Before joining Fondia, I spent ten years at a traditional law firm specializing in dispute resolution and commercial contracts in a broader sense. I also have experience working in both district court and court of appeal. My combined experience from the courts and law firms has equipped me to provide our clients with specialized advice throughout all phases of dispute resolution—from early risk assessment, investigation, and negotiation to actual litigation before courts and arbitration tribunals.

Outside of work, I highly value time with my family and close friends. I enjoy exploring new environments and experiencing different cultures—and back home in Sweden, I love taking a boat ride on Lake Mälaren.
