Jarmo Riikonen
I joined Fondia in 2022. I am specialized in Competition Law and Telecom and Digital Regulation. My experience covers e.g. regulatory work, competition law related rulings in the Telecom sector, involvement in legislative drafting of national and EU laws, and Digital Regulations.
Prior to joining Fondia, I worked as a lawyer in Finnish telecom regulation agency. In addition to my law degree, I have a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management and an extensive experience in business roles e.g. in setting up a business abroad, building up and also running down of a start-up, involvement in public procurement cases and in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
During my spare time, I am passionate about photography and try to keep healthy by going to the gym or taking walks. I also enjoy learning Italian, the language of my favorite travelling destination.
